Houston Rockets at Charlotte Hornets
Houston Rockets -4.5
The pick: Houston Rockets -4.5 at −110
Lost. Final: Houston Rockets 105, Charlotte Hornets 101.
Despite missing Fred VanVleet, Houston's core of Alperen Sengun and Jabari Smith Jr. provides too much firepower for Charlotte's injury-ravaged roster. The Hornets are without their second and third scoring options in Miles Bridges and Coby White, leaving LaMelo Ball to carry an unsustainable load. Houston's better overall record and more functional remaining roster will translate to a comfortable road victory.
